A lot of them have replaced gaming nearly entirely with watching and sharing Tiktoks - why bother playing games when it's so much more engaging and stimulating to scroll? And then they will buy whatever is being shared in the Tiktoks all their friends are sharing. I'm not really sure WHO the target audience is for the games anymore at least in my area, it sure isn't the kids playing them. Most of them their parents wouldn't buy them such an expensive device. That all being said only a few of them actually have a Switch with which to play the games. All I hear is all their friends have them so they want to join in too. I've asked around every time I'm in an LE but none of the kids seem to know.
